I love books! Reading a book can be so magical; it can whisk me away to new places, even while I’m stuck at home. When I’m not in world, I do a lot of reading.

This wonderful Paper Magic pose prop set was on sale last weekend at Disorderly for 75L. The flying pose I got free at a past La Vie en Pose event. It isn’t too late to grab some free poses at the current La Vie en Pose, which is open until April 25, 2020. The gifts are quite generous!

I really need to work on my inventory, but here I am sweeping sand off my deck again. I love living on the beach but the sand is a pain in my castle!

    • Note on lighting: I loved the shadows in Epi Vintage but it has a yellowish caste, as do many of the Windlight settings. I countered this with a blue filter in Photoshop to bring out truer tones.

Hanging Out in the Bayou

It’s hot. It’s muggy. It’s a perfect day to sit barefoot in the shade of a big old tree, feeling the breeze come off the river. A tall, cold glass of lemonade would taste great right about now!

I lived at Bayou Chat Noir for over a year. The entire sim is like an art project and is just stunning. I highly recommend a visit!

I was doing my Friday bargain hunting when I saw a woman wearing this outfit. I complimented her on it, she thanked me and told me that it was a rare Gacha prize from !gO! We talked a little and then parted ways. About 10 minutes later, she offered to sell it to me for an incredible price. I leaped at the chance! I also made a new friend in the exchange. It was a complete WIN!!

I love wild, untamed beaches. They remind me of childhood vacations in New England. I’ve been creating a wild beach on my Homestead. It’s my happy place.

Goldfish Bowl

This photo shoot started with an Around the Grid in 80 Days hunt item from Lunar Seasonal Designs. The prize was a lovely goldfish bowl, which I was able to enlarge and swim inside. This rock is perfect for lounging and the goldfish and I are having a lovely visit. I’m sure it gets lonely swimming around and around by himself.
