It’s hot. It’s muggy. It’s a perfect day to sit barefoot in the shade of a big old tree, feeling the breeze come off the river. A tall, cold glass of lemonade would taste great right about now!
I lived at Bayou Chat Noir for over a year. The entire sim is like an art project and is just stunning. I highly recommend a visit!
I found this place while looking for a pose at Le Poppycock. It is the starting location for the Enchantment event, which begins tomorrow! I’ll be shopping.
I unpacked a few things from the Ahoy There! Ghee Nautical Hunt and put together this cool top and shorts outfit. Each piece is only 10L and there are over two dozen to mix and match. I only did the adult portion of the hunt but there are some items for the kiddies too.
I finally took the plunge and got a Homestead. This will allow me to make my own backdrops, set land forms, textures, weather and more! I’ve been wanting to do this for a long time and today was the day!
Today’s post was inspired by the latest creation from my friend, Sylvi, of b[ELLE]. This top and bellbottoms set has a color change HUD for each section. The pants have the most GORGEOUS embroidery down one leg. You can see some in the photo, but I admit I didn’t quite do it justice with my classic cross-legged hippy pose.

The gifts! So….many….gifts! My poor feet are so tired from all the SL 16B shopping and gift gathering. I’m waiting for the delivery service to pick up my packages and push me home.
My biggest thrill in life is to read in the afternoon until I fall asleep and take a nap.

I excel at napping. In fact if napping was a pageant skill, I’d be crowned queen! However, Apollo, the sun god, reminded me I was merely mortal and woke me up with an eyeball piercing ray of sunshine. Will somebody please close the curtains?
Head — Lelutka –Chloe. In case you haven’t already figured it out, this is my current favorite head. Lelutka makes such exquisite Bento heads and the HUD is so easy to use.
When I read about the SL 16B Photo Challenge, I knew I wanted to do more than just take a photo. I wouldn’t be in Second Life for almost thirteen years were it not for the people in it with me. I wanted to pay tribute to the friends that make my Second Life special. These are the friends that I share funny “only in SL” moments with, and the ones who are there when I need a good cry.
“Mellwyn” shares this blog with me. I don’t share well (ask my rl husband LOL), so this is a huge deal and a giant leap of friendship.
